Experience Report on Whether Vitamin D and Light Exercise Actually Prevent Depression

April 23, 2019

I talked about vitamin D being mentally good and vitamin D deficiency in the past on this blog, but I actually started taking vitamin D supplements.

It's been about two weeks, but I 'm actually in good mental condition with vitamin D supplements .

During this time, I had a slight cold and fell asleep, but usually my mental condition became ill due to poor physical condition, I thought about all the negative things and fell into rumination, and I became more and more addicted to the symptoms of depression. This time, it wasn't so refreshing, and I was just starting to take vitamin D supplements, so I'm wondering if it's probably due to vitamin D.

By the way, the supplement I'm using is called "Nature Made Super Vitamin D ".

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Nature Made Super Vitamin D 1000IU (90 tablets) Wellness

It's about 700 yen with 90 tablets, so please give it a try.

It doesn't mean that depression will improve immediately, but it will help prevent the recurrence of depressive symptoms because it is easier to keep your mental condition in good condition.

Also, since I continue to do light muscle training, is that also effective? Isn't it? I don't know for a moment, but after raising and lowering the dumbbells even a little, I feel that my brain is refreshing, so it may be better than not doing it.

The opinion that "If you can do that, you will not be depressed" is reasonable.
When you're at the bottom of your depression, it's best to stay in the dark without overdoing it.

As I wrote earlier, I think it's a good idea to work on vitamin D supplements, daily muscle training, and light exercise with the feeling of "preventing depression and depressive symptoms" when you are in good shape. ..

There are times when it's likely to recur, but these days it's been holding up relatively well, so I think it's okay to believe that it's thanks to supplements.

I want to be healthy because I don't care about the placebo effect.

So, I'll link the article about vitamin D and the relationship between exercise and depression below, so please read it if you like.
