People with weak mentality say that there is distortion

People with depression and depressive symptoms usually end up with this distorted way of thinking, and in extreme cases, suicidal ideation, believing that they are worthless.

If you notice that your thinking is distorted, get in the habit of correcting the distortion like manipulative treatment.

1. 1. All-or-none thinking

Thinking that it is the same as zero if it is not zero or 100, 100.

Even if it is about 70% for me, it may be 100% for the other party.

2. 2. Too generalized

I think that a bad event that happened once must be the same next time.

In reality, it is unlikely that something bad will happen in quick succession.

3. 3. Mind filter

With negative beliefs and illusions of thought, various things are taken negatively.

Things aren't all bad, let's look for the good.

4. Negative thinking

You don't think the good side is good. Think of good things as bad things.

Let's remove the filter from the mind. Let's accept the positive thing as positive.

5. Leap of conclusion

The idea is extreme and I assume things with the worst ending and negative branding. I humble myself with the little words and deeds of others.

Don't read too much. The world is surprisingly simple.

6. Expanded interpretation and underestimation

My mistakes and bad points are worse than necessary, and successes and good points are extremely underestimated. I feel depressed compared to others.

Others have failures and successes, so I can't say that I'm particularly bad.

7. Emotional branding

Negative bias of thinking that is based on emotions. They decide on the grounds of negative emotions such as anger and sadness and overlook the essence of the matter.

Think that you can't make a calm judgment when you're emotional.

8. ◯◯ Thinking to be done

A biased way of thinking that it should be like this. Because he has a strong sense of justice, he feels resentment and stress at the contradictions in the world.

My way of thinking is not always correct. Let's look at things from a different perspective.

9. Label

It fixes a negative image to itself. I label myself as bad.

The label is probably only visible to me. It's a belief that others see it that way.

10. Personalization

Thinking that everything is wrong. I have a strong sense of responsibility and carry on various things myself, so I think I can't do it.

There aren't many people who can do anything alone, and it's kindness that you can't refuse your request, but let's be kind to yourself.
